Our customers demand the highest standards of label quality and finishing. The Rhyguan Top330PLUS2 is a modern compact digital finishing solution. It is fully servo-driven and digitally controlled. It offers SPOT varnish, cold foil, and semi-rotary die-cutting, various slitting and rewinding options.
Compact digital label finishing
The Rhyguan TOP330PLUS2 is a digital label finishing machine, that offers spot varnish and semi-rotary die-cutting into one compact configuration. This converting machine is available in three widths: 333mm (TOP330PLUS2), 420mm (TOP420PLUS2), and 520mm (TOP520PLUS2)
The TOP330PLUS2 machine is fully servo driven, starting with the unwind, the flexo, the die-cutting, including the rewind, and everything in between. That even includes the matrix rewind. The servo engines are digitally controlled. This provides synchronization across all servo-engines with precision timings and accurate step-and-repeats. The result is excellent tension control, a very smooth-running machine, and astonishing finishing quality.
Semi-Rotary Flexo
This Semi-Rotary Flexo unit is suitable to apply spot-varnish in the register. It is easy to switch from semi-rotary to full rotary to apply flood-coating if your job so requires.
The Flexo unit has a convenient slide-back panel for easy access and is default fitted with a large 204Z print cylinder, Anilox roll of choice, and Flexoconcepts orange doctor blades.
It is possible to choose standard UV curing or LED UV curing. IR/Hotair drying is also available and can be combined with UV curing. For heat-sensitive materials, a chill roller with an industrial chiller is also available. Ask about our sleeve solutions and other Flexo printing options you may require.
Upgrade to allow backside printing, and upgrade further with print on the glue-side with simple compact delamination and relamination functionality.
Cold Foil and Lamination
Add extra embellishments to your digitally printed label with Cold foil. Fully servo-driven unwind and rewind is also suitable for standard lamination.
Semi-rotary Die-cutting
The Semi-rotary die-cutting unit features a large digitally controlled servo-driven and is standard equipped with a 204Z magnetic cylinder. This creates compatibility to match the frame sizes of digitally printed webs from all major brand digital printers.
With digital control over the timings and positioning, accuracy and repeatability are outstanding.
The die-plates are easy to mount, and pressure sensors can be added for precision control over the die-cutting pressure. The standard gap between the magnetic cylinder and the Anvil is 0.48mm. A gap of up to 1mm is optional.
For optimal control over the gap and to better die-cut different materials, Rhyguan recommends Rotometrics® Adjustable Clearance Anvil.

Slitting:
Choose the most suitable slitting options that fit your needs.
Save 5-6 minutes set-up time per job by selecting the Automatically positioned shear slitting knives. For 10 jobs/shift, this will already create a full hour of extra productivity.
Standards shear slitting module is also available. Trim extraction comes standard with all slitting modules and includes a simple suction engine.
The automatic shear slitting system is controlled from the touch screen user interface, or through an ERP/CRM controlled workflow with Rhyguan’s digital platform.
Add extra flexibility by adding razor blade slitting to your shear slitting system.
Rewinding, cut-sheeting
The various rewinding options include the default single rewind.
Dual rewinding is the most chosen configuration. Cut-sheet delivery is also possible either direct from the die-cutting unit, or with a separate rotary sheeting unit.
Productive Turret rewinding
The productive turret rewinding includes a buffer. When rewinding the small rolls has reached the set label count, the machine will continue production. While at the same time the High productivity Turret will automatically cut the web, turn the turret, and resume rewinding. While the machine speeds up to empty the buffer, an operator can take of the finished rolls, and add a new core for the next change over.
Inspection camera
It is possible to add an inspection camera to the paper-path. Rhyguan has an open platform, which allows for the integration of all major brand inspection systems to allow you to get the best service available locally.
